Another DAB Micro System to Avoid At All Costs

LG have now released a DAB micro system which costs an outrageous £200. You can get a Sony micro system with MP3 playback capability for just £97, so paying more than double for one with a DAB tuner on it which provides lower audio quality than FM is simply a rip-off.

You may think I'm joking or exaggerating when I advise people to avoid DAB for hi-fi systems, but I'm not. DAB in the UK definitely provides significantly lower audio quality than FM, digital satellite, Freeview and digital cable. What more can I say? Leave DAB micro systems to those naive enough to believe the DAB hype.
