DAB sounds worse than FM, Internet radio & radio via digital TV
FM stations WILL NOT be switched off in 2015 - that date has been dishonestly set early to scare people into buying DAB now. FM stations won't be switched off until around 2020

Satellite radio station bit rate information from linowsat.co.uk

linowsat.co.uk updates the bit rate information daily, and this page reads the bit rates from the linowsat.co.uk website (with permission) when someone visits the page.

The colour coding is as follows:

  • Green means higher bit rates and higher audio quality
  • Red means lower bit rates and lower audio quality
  • For intermediate bit rate levels the colour changes linearly from red through orange and yellow to green.
